Persona Fusion Calculator

1. Pick your game. Persona 3 Reload, Episode Aigis and Persona 5 Royal give named Personas. The other five games give the result arcana.
2. Pick a mode. Fuse two Personas returns the Persona you get. How do I make this Persona lists every pair that makes a target. Look up the result arcana shows only the arcana.
3. Type the English Persona names. Capitals and spaces do not matter, and a wrong name returns close matches.
4. Decide whether to include downloadable-content Personas. The default excludes them.

Persona fusion is the Velvet Room system that combines two Personas into a new one. The ingredients are used up, and the new Persona can inherit skills from them.

In a normal two-Persona fusion, the arcana of the two ingredients decides the arcana of the result, and their levels decide which Persona of that arcana you get. Some Personas ignore this and follow a fixed ingredient list. Those are called special fusions.

Each game and each re-release has its own chart, so the same two arcana can give different results. Persona 3 Reload uses a 22-arcana chart. Persona 5 Royal adds the Faith and Councillor arcana to the 21 of Persona 5.

For a named result the calculator reads the chart and then the level ladder of the result arcana. The rules below were ported from an open-source fusion tool and then tested against an independent second code path.

1. Check the special recipes first. A pair that matches a fixed two-Persona recipe returns that special Persona.
2. For different arcana, look up the result arcana on the chart for the game. A blank cell means no result.
3. List the arcana Personas that normal fusion can make. Special-recipe and party-only Personas are not on this list.
4. Pick the lowest one at or above the rounded-up average. If it is one of the ingredients, take the next one up.
5. For the same arcana, pick the highest Persona at or below the average plus 1, skipping both ingredients. The result is never higher than the ingredients.

For the reverse mode the tool runs the same forward rule on every pair of available Personas and keeps the pairs that give your target. That is 14878 pairs of checks for the 173 fusable Personas in Persona 3 Reload, done in your browser.

Persona 3 Reload, different arcana. Angel is a Justice Persona at base level 4. Ara Mitama is a Chariot Persona at base level 6. The Persona 3 Reload chart gives Magician for Justice x Chariot. The average is (4 + 6) / 2 = 5, and the lowest Magician that is at or above 5.5 is Jack Frost at base level 8. A published Persona 3 Reload guide lists this same pair for Jack Frost.

Persona 5 Royal. Succubus (Moon, base level 7) plus Kelpie (Strength, base level 6) also makes Jack Frost, which is base level 11 in Royal. A Persona 5 Royal article lists Succubus with Kelpie as the cheapest route.

Same arcana. Ose (Fool, base level 41) plus Decarabia (Fool, base level 54) have an average of 47.5. The tool takes the highest Fool at or below 48.5 that is neither ingredient, which is Legion at base level 26. Fusing two Personas of one arcana makes a lower-level one.

A special fusion. Orpheus plus Thanatos makes Messiah in Persona 3 Reload, because that is a fixed recipe and not a chart result.

The Game and Its Edition

Moon x Sun gives Empress in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, Strength in Persona 4 Golden, Temperance in Persona 3 FES and Tower in Persona 3 Reload. Always pick the right game.

Downloadable Personas

Persona 3 Reload has 21 DLC Personas and Persona 5 Royal has 25 in this data set. Each one adds a rung to the level ladder of its arcana, so fusing with the DLC on can change the Persona you get. The DLC menu defaults to Exclude.

Unlocked Personas

The data assumes the Personas that need a maxed Social Link or Confidant, a story event or a Request are all unlocked. The result note names the unlock condition when one exists.

Special Fusions

A special fusion needs a fixed list of Personas and ignores the arcana chart. Some lists have two Personas and are handled by the pair fuse. Longer lists show in recipe mode as a list of ingredients.

Treasure Demons, Triple Fusion and Accidents

Persona 5 Royal Treasure Demon fusion, triple fusion, fusion accidents and the Royal fusion alarm are not modelled. They can change the result of a given fusion.

Your Level

The protagonist normally cannot fuse a Persona above his own level, and that limit is not checked here.

1. Using a Chart from the Wrong Game

The Persona 3 Reload chart differs from the Persona 3 FES chart in 191 of its 231 different-arcana pairs. Match the game exactly.

2. Entering the Trained Level

The rule uses base levels. A Persona you levelled from 8 to 15 still counts as 8.

3. Forgetting the DLC Setting

If a recipe needs a downloadable Persona, or your result differs from the game, check the DLC menu first.

4. Expecting Same-arcana Fusion to Level Up

Two Personas of one arcana make a lower-level Persona of that arcana, and it may be none at all.

5. Looking for Special Fusion Personas in the Chart

Personas with a fixed recipe never come from the chart. Use recipe mode and read the ingredient list.

6. Typing a Nickname

Names must match the English Persona name. Close matches are suggested when a name is not found.

The data is a fan-built open data set, not an official publisher table. It was read on 2026-10-03 from the project commit 0b20761 dated 2026-09-26. Game patches after that date may change levels or arcana.

The fusion rule was written from that project source and tested two ways. For Persona 3 Reload, Episode Aigis and Persona 5 Royal, the forward rule was run on every pair and compared with the project's separate reverse-recipe code. Persona 3 Reload matched on every target. A handful of same-arcana pairs with neighbouring levels differ between the two code paths in Aigis and Royal, so treat same-arcana results as the least certain. Published guides also agree on the Jack Frost recipes checked for Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal.

The old chart image data for Persona 5 listed a result for four Judgement pairs (with Chariot, Justice, Strength and Death) that this data set leaves blank. This page shows no result for them and flags the disagreement.

Yes. Both give the exact Persona for two ingredients and a full recipe list for a target. Episode Aigis uses its own Persona list.

Yes. Persona 5 Royal returns named results and recipes. The original Persona 5, Persona 4 and Persona 3 games give the result arcana only.

For different arcana it is the lowest Persona of the result arcana at or above the rounded-up average of the two base levels. For the same arcana it is the highest Persona at or below the average plus 1.

You get a lower-level Persona of that arcana, never one of the two ingredients. Fusing the two lowest Personas of an arcana can return no result.

Some arcana pairs are blank on the chart, and a same-arcana pair can have nothing below it. Try another pair.

Two-Persona special recipes are applied in fuse mode. Recipes with three or more ingredients appear as an ingredient list in recipe mode.

Check the DLC menu, the game edition and your unlock progress. Treasure Demon fusion, triple fusion and fusion accidents are not modelled.
