A Grow a Garden calculator works out the sell value of a fruit. It multiplies the base value by the squared weight ratio, the variant and the mutation multiplier. A 0.75 kg Gold, Wet Tomato is 30 x 2.25 x 20 x 2 = 2,700 Sheckles. Values follow the community wiki as read on 2026-10-02.

How to Use the Grow a Garden Calculator
- Pick your crop and enter the fruit weight in kilograms.
- Choose the variant, then type the mutation names with commas between them.
- Add friends in your server and the number of fruits. A target value is optional.
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sell value per fruit | The value of one fruit in Sheckles on the wiki formula. |
| Weight multiplier | Weight divided by base weight, squared. It never goes below 0.95 squared. |
| Variant multiplier | x1 for Normal up to x60 for Ember. |
| Mutation multiplier | All mutations combined by the stacking rule. |
| Total for all fruits | Value per fruit times the number of fruits. |
| With friend boost | The total plus 10% per friend in your server, up to 40%. |
| Weight needed for target | The fruit weight that reaches your target value with the same variant and mutations. |
What Is the Grow a Garden Calculator?
The Grow a Garden calculator is a fan-made tool that estimates what a fruit sells for. Grow a Garden is a farming game on Roblox. Players buy seeds, grow crops and sell the fruit for Sheckles, the main currency.
Four things set the price of a fruit: the crop, its weight, its variant and its mutations. The game wiki publishes a formula that joins them. This page runs that formula.
The data comes from the community wiki, not from the developers. The wiki is maintained by players and was read on 2026-10-02. The game updates often, so a value here can be out of date. Any crop or figure can be replaced with your own through the custom fields.
The tool does not cover pet values, trade values between players or event currencies.
How Does the Grow a Garden Value Formula Work?
The wiki gives the sell value as base value times three multipliers, rounded to a whole number.
Value = round(base value x weight multiplier x variant x mutation multiplier)Weight multiplier = max(weight / base weight, 0.95)^2Mutation multiplier = max(1, 1 + sum of (each mutation - 1))- Divide the fruit weight by the base weight of the crop. Use 0.95 if the answer is lower.
- Square that ratio. A fruit at 1.5 times base weight gets x2.25.
- Multiply by the variant: Normal x1, Silver x5, Gold x20, Rainbow x50, Diamond x50, Jelly x50 or Ember x60.
- Add the mutations by the stacking rule. Shocked x100 and Frozen x10 make x109, not x1,000.
- Multiply everything by the base value and round.
Variants multiply. Mutations add. That is why Gold with Shocked and Frozen is 20 x 109 = x2,180.
Grow a Garden Value Example
A Rainbow Pumpkin weighs 12 kg and has the Shocked and Frozen mutations. The wiki lists Pumpkin at a base value of 3,400 and a base weight of 8 kg.
| Step | Working | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Weight ratio | 12 / 8 | 1.5 |
| Weight multiplier | 1.5 x 1.5 | x2.25 |
| Variant | Rainbow | x50 |
| Mutation multiplier | 1 + (100 - 1) + (10 - 1) | x109 |
| Value | 3,400 x 2.25 x 50 x 109 | 41,692,500 |
| Three fruits | 41,692,500 x 3 | 125,077,500 |
| With 2 friends | 125,077,500 x 1.2 | 150,093,000 |
One fruit is worth about 41.69M Sheckles. The mutation stack does most of the work here: x109 against x2.25 from weight.
Factors That Change a Fruit Value
Weight, Squared
Value grows with the square of the weight ratio. A Carrot at base weight, 0.28 kg, is worth 20. At 0.56 kg it is worth 80, and at 0.84 kg it is worth 180.
The Price Floor
The ratio never drops below 0.95. A 0.20 kg Carrot still sells for 18, the same as any Carrot up to 0.266 kg.
The Variant
Only one variant can be active. Gold multiplies by 20 and Rainbow by 50, on top of everything else.
The Mutation Stack
Each extra mutation adds its multiplier minus 1. Adding Choc x2 to Shocked and Frozen moves x109 to x110.
Fused Mutations
Some mutations merge into a new one. The wiki says Wet or Drenched with Chilled becomes Frozen. Enter what the fruit shows now, not what it had before.
Friends in the Server
The wiki says each friend in your server gives a 10% Sheckle boost, to a maximum of 40%.
Variants vs Mutations Compared
Variants and mutations both raise value, but they combine in different ways.
| Feature | Variant | Mutation |
|---|---|---|
| How many per fruit | One | Several |
| How it combines | Multiplies the value | Adds to the mutation multiplier |
| Range on the wiki | x1 to x60 | x1 to x500 |
| Examples | Silver, Gold, Rainbow, Diamond, Jelly, Ember | Wet, Frozen, Shocked, Celestial |
One name appears in both lists. The wiki notes that the Ember mutation (x100) and the Ember variant (x60) are separate mechanics.
A Pumpkin at base weight shows the gap. Shocked alone gives 340,000. Gold alone gives 68,000. Together they give 6,800,000. For very large totals, the scientific notation calculator helps with the zeros.

When to Use a Grow a Garden Calculator
Before You Sell
Check the expected value of a fruit against the in-game offer. A large gap means a name or weight was entered wrong, or the game has changed.
Choosing Which Mutation to Chase
Compare stacks. On a Gold fruit, adding Frozen to Shocked moves the total from x2,000 to x2,180, a 9% gain. The percentage calculator shows the working.
Setting a Weight Goal
Enter a target value to see the weight needed. A plain Pumpkin needs 16 kg to reach 13,600, which is twice its base weight. The square root calculator shows why: the ratio is the square root of 4.
Comparing Two Fruits
Use Save on each fruit, then open Saved results to see them side by side. The ratio calculator compares the two values.
Common Grow a Garden Value Mistakes
1. Multiplying Mutations Together
Shocked and Frozen are x109, not x1,000. Mutations add around a base of 1.
2. Multiplying by Raw Weight
Weight counts as a ratio to base weight, squared. A 12 kg Pumpkin is x2.25, not x12.
3. Treating a Variant as a Mutation
Gold and Rainbow are variants. They multiply the mutation total instead of joining it.
4. Entering Mutations That Have Fused
A fruit with Frozen no longer counts Wet and Chilled separately. Enter Frozen only.
5. Using an Old Value Table
The wiki notes that Paradisal changed from x18 to x100. Always check the date on any list.
6. Expecting an Exact Match Every Time
The wiki says crops with the Honey trait use a modified variant multiplier, and that fruits pass through an additional value curve after the standard calculation.
Accuracy and Limitations
The arithmetic follows the wiki formula exactly. The data is community-maintained and unofficial, so the in-game price is the final word.
What it calculates accurately
- The wiki value formula for a standard fruit.
- Additive stacking for any mix of the 195 listed mutations.
- The 0.95 price floor and the weight needed for a target.
What it does not account for
- Game updates after 2026-10-02.
- Honey trait crops and the additional value curve the wiki mentions.
- Automatic fusion of mutations: enter the final names yourself.
- Pets, trades, event currencies and any selling cap.
Rounding can differ by 1 Sheckle at an exact half. The wiki table shows 902 for a floor-weight Daffodil, and this page shows 903.
How We Calculate Fruit Value
Frequently Asked Questions About Grow a Garden Values
How is fruit value calculated in Grow a Garden?
The wiki formula is base value times the squared weight ratio, times the variant, times the mutation multiplier, rounded. The weight ratio is weight divided by base weight, with a floor of 0.95.
Do mutations multiply or add in Grow a Garden?
They add. The wiki says mutations stack additively by adding each value above x1. Shocked x100 and Frozen x10 combine to x109.
What is the highest mutation multiplier?
Goldsparkle at x500 is the highest single multiplier on the wiki list read on 2026-10-02. The wiki warns that any claimed maximum stack must be recalculated after each update.
How much is a Rainbow mutation worth?
Rainbow is a variant worth x50. It multiplies the whole value, so a Rainbow fruit with Shocked and Frozen is 50 x 109 = x5,450 on base value.
Does weight matter in Grow a Garden?
Yes, and it is squared. A fruit at twice its base weight is worth 4 times as much. A fruit under 0.95 of base weight sells at the price floor.
How does the friend boost work?
The wiki says every friend in the same server gives a 10% Sheckle boost, to a maximum of 40%. Four friends reach the cap.
Can a fruit have two variants?
No. The wiki states that only one variant can be active on a fruit at a time.
Why is my in-game price different from the calculator?
The game may have updated since 2026-10-02, a mutation may have fused, or the crop may use the Honey trait rule. Enter your own base value to match the current game.
My crop is not in the list. What do I do?
Pick Custom crop and enter the base value and base weight from that crop page on the wiki. The formula is the same for every standard crop.
Is this calculator official?
No. It is fan-made and uses a player-maintained wiki. It is not affiliated with the game developers or with Roblox.
Is my data saved?
No. The maths runs in your browser and nothing is sent to us. Save keeps a result only in this browser.
