A YouTube sponsorship package calculator prices a bundle of deliverables from your own rate card. It multiplies each item price by its quantity, adds the lines into a list total, takes off your bundle discount and adds any flat add-on fee. It also shows the monthly amount, the average per deliverable and the gap to your floor.

How to Use the YouTube Sponsorship Package Calculator
- Enter your own price for each type of deliverable and the quantity the sponsor wants. Leave unused lines blank.
- Enter the bundle discount you are willing to give. Add a flat add-on fee and the term in months if they apply.
- Read the package price. Add your lowest acceptable total to get a verdict on whether the bundle still clears it.
What each result tells you:
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| Package price | List total minus the bundle discount, plus the add-on fee. This is the number to quote. |
| List total before discount | Every price x quantity added together, and the count of deliverables. |
| Bundle discount | The money the discount takes off the list total. |
| Add-on fee | The flat fee added after the discount. |
| Monthly amount | The package price divided by the term. |
| Average per deliverable | The discounted total divided by the number of deliverables, without the add-on. |
| Package vs your floor | How far the package price sits above or below your walk-away number. |
What Is a YouTube Sponsorship Package?
A YouTube sponsorship package is a bundle of sponsored deliverables sold to one sponsor for one price. A package can mix integrated mentions, dedicated videos, Shorts and smaller items such as community posts, spread over weeks or months.
Creators sell packages because one sale replaces several, and sponsors buy them because repeated mentions reach the same audience more than once. The creator normally gives a discount on the list total in return for the larger commitment.
What this page does not do: it does not tell you what a mention or a Short is worth. No official price list exists, and the old version of this page priced every format from a made-up multiplier. You now enter your own price for each item.
How Does the Sponsorship Package Calculation Work?
The calculator builds a list total line by line, applies one percentage discount to that total, and adds flat fees last.
Package price = Sum of (Price x Quantity) x (1 - Discount %) + Add-on fee.- Line total = your price each x quantity, for each deliverable type.
- List total = the sum of all line totals.
- Discount amount = list total x bundle discount.
- Package price = list total - discount amount + add-on fee.
- Monthly amount = package price / months. Average per deliverable = (list total - discount) / deliverables.
The add-on fee is kept outside the discount on purpose. Usage rights and similar extras are not cheaper to grant because the sponsor bought more videos.
YouTube Sponsorship Package Example
Example values only, not benchmarks. A creator prices an integrated mention at 1,200, a dedicated video at 3,000, a Short at 400 and a community post at 150. A sponsor wants 3 mentions, 1 dedicated video, 4 Shorts and 2 posts over 3 months, with a 500 usage fee. The creator offers 10% off and will not go below 7,500.
| Step | Result |
|---|---|
| Integrated mentions (1,200 x 3) | 3,600.00 |
| Dedicated video (3,000 x 1) | 3,000.00 |
| Shorts (400 x 4) | 1,600.00 |
| Community posts (150 x 2) | 300.00 |
| List total, 10 deliverables | 8,500.00 |
| Bundle discount (8,500 x 10%) | -850.00 |
| Add-on fee | +500.00 |
| Package price | 8,150.00 |
| Monthly amount (8,150 / 3) | 2,716.67 |
| Average per deliverable (7,650 / 10) | 765.00 |
| Package vs floor (8,150 - 7,500) | +650.00, which is 8.7% above |
Meaning: the package clears the floor by 650.00. A 15% discount would bring the price to 7,725.00, still above the floor, and a 20% discount would bring it to 7,300.00, below it.
Factors That Change a Sponsorship Package Price
Four choices set the package price, and all four are yours.
Your Single-Item Prices
The package is only as sound as the rate card under it. Work out the price of one mention with the sponsorship rate calculator before you bundle.
The Mix of Deliverables
Swapping a dedicated video for two mentions changes the list total even when the count of deliverables stays the same.
The Size of the Discount
Each discount point removes 1% of the list total. On 8,500.00, every point is 85.00.
Add-ons
Usage rights, exclusivity and rush delivery are separate asks. Price them as flat fees or use the brand deal pricing calculator to build them up from your costs.
Term Length
A longer term lowers the monthly amount but not the package price. It does lock your calendar and your category for longer.
Package Price vs Single-Video Pricing
A package trades a lower price per item for a larger, committed sale. Compare the two before you offer a discount.
| Point | Single videos | Package |
|---|---|---|
| Price per item | Your full list price | List price minus the bundle discount |
| Income certainty | One deal at a time | Agreed for the whole term |
| Sales effort | A new pitch for each video | One negotiation |
| Flexibility | Change price on the next deal | Price is fixed until the term ends |
| Risk if your views grow | None, you can reprice | You are locked at the old price |
To check the discount step alone, use the discount calculator. To see what the package pays per 1,000 views, enter the price and total views in the sponsorship CPM calculator.
When to Use a Sponsorship Package Calculator
A Sponsor Asks for a Multi-Video Quote
Enter the mix they asked for and send one package price with the list total beside it, so the discount is visible.
Building Three Tiers
Run the calculator three times with small, medium and large mixes. Save each result and paste the three prices into your rate card.
Testing a Counter-Offer
A sponsor asks for 20% off. Change the discount and watch the verdict against your floor before you reply.
Disclosure Rules for Every Item in a Package
Each sponsored deliverable needs its own disclosure, so a package of ten items means ten disclosures. These notes were read on 2026-10-03 and are not legal advice.
- YouTube: YouTube Help says you have to let YouTube know about branded content by selecting the paid promotion setting in the video details. Set it on every video in the package.
- US viewers: the FTC says the disclosure should be placed with the endorsement itself, in simple words such as "ad" or "sponsored". It warns against vague terms such as "sp", "spon" or "collab".
- Mentions inside a longer video: FTC staff guidance says the best place for the disclosure is right before or at the beginning of the paid segment, and that a disclosure only in the video description is not enough on its own.
- Live streams: the FTC says a disclosure in a live stream should be repeated from time to time, so viewers who join late still see it.
Common Sponsorship Package Mistakes
1. Discounting the Add-ons
A percentage off the whole invoice also cuts your usage fee. Keep flat fees outside the discount.
2. Stacking Discounts
10% for the bundle and 10% for paying early is not 20% off. Agree one number.
3. Pricing Items from Someone Else's Rate Card
Another channel's prices reflect another audience. Use your own.
4. Forgetting Your Floor
Decide your walk-away total first. The verdict then tells you when a counter-offer has crossed it.
5. Quoting Only the Monthly Amount
A monthly figure hides the total commitment. Quote the package price and show the monthly amount beside it.
6. Leaving Out the Deliverable Count
List every item and quantity in the quote, or the sponsor may expect more than you priced.
Accuracy and Limitations
The sums are exact, so the package price is only as good as the item prices you enter.
What it calculates accurately
- The list total from your prices and quantities
- The discount amount and the discounted total
- The package price with a flat add-on fee
- The monthly amount, the average per deliverable and the gap to your floor
What it does not account for
- What any deliverable is worth on the market
- Views, clicks or sales the package will bring
- Your production costs, tax or agency commission
- Contract terms such as payment dates and revisions
How We Calculate the Package Price
Frequently Asked Questions About YouTube Sponsorship Packages
How much discount should a sponsorship package have?
No official rule exists, so the discount is your choice. Set your floor first, then pick the largest discount that keeps the package price above it. In the example, 15% still clears a 7,500 floor and 20% does not.
What should a YouTube sponsorship package include?
It includes whatever you and the sponsor agree. Common items are integrated mentions, dedicated videos, Shorts and community posts. List each item, its quantity and its delivery date in the quote.
Why is the add-on fee not discounted?
Add-ons such as usage rights are extra permissions, not extra videos. Buying more videos does not make them cheaper to grant, so the calculator adds the fee after the discount.
How do I price a Short against a long video?
Set each price from your own results for that format. No official ratio between a Short and a long video exists, and this page no longer applies one.
Can I show the package as a monthly retainer?
Yes. Enter the term in months and the calculator divides the package price evenly. An 8,150.00 package over 3 months is 2,716.67 per month.
What is the average per deliverable used for?
It shows the sponsor what each item costs inside the bundle. Compare it with your single-item prices to make the saving clear.
Does the package price include agency commission?
No. Commission comes out of the package price. To keep a set amount after commission, divide that amount by one minus the commission rate before you quote.
Do I need to disclose every video in a package?
Yes. YouTube Help says to select the paid promotion setting on videos with sponsorships, and the FTC says the disclosure belongs with each endorsement. This is general information, not legal advice.
What if the sponsor wants to drop one item?
Lower that quantity and read the new price. Check whether the smaller bundle still earns the same discount, because the commitment is now smaller.
Is my information saved?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers. Anything you choose to Save stays in this browser only.
